We are Masters of our lives
We are Masters of our lives. The material life we create is shaped by our thoughts and emotions. Our thoughts provide the framework of what is to be created, and our emotions fuel it into being.
Unfortunately, for most of us, this process happens at an unconscious level. For how could we consciously create unpleasant circumstances in our lives? Yet, this is the truth. And the good news is, if we have created something we don’t like, we can “uncreate” it, at least in theory.
The key is to understand the process of manifesting. The process has been extensively discussed. “The Secret” book and DVD provide extensive details on how to manifest everything you want in your life. I gave my own version of the process in a book chapter published in “The Path to Success” compilation book, and I have even created an even simpler “Seven Steps to Abundance” process.
Yet, despite all the literature and the help available, people still struggle to manifest the life they want. Why? Because the process is simple, but not easy. The process requires determination, discipline, focus, the ability to recognize and feel emotions, and most importantly, the ability to handle success.
Do you realize that most people crave success, and most people have the ability to achieve that success. Yet, most people find a way of sabotaging that success. They may never try to achieve anything, or they may start and give up before manifesting their dream.
A few years ago, I started a website that sold various products that were to be drop-shipped from America. For over a year, the website sold nothing at all. I then started using affirmations stating that I would be able to generate a certain amount of passive income through my online businesses. Two days after, I sold my first online product. Instead of celebrating, I went in a state of panic and immediately stopped using the affirmations!
Fear of success is one of the most paradoxical fears we have. It seems strange that anyone would want to sabotage his or her dreams. Yet, it is definitely the case, especially when the type of success we are seeking is outside our comfort zone.
It is therefore important, while using manifestation techniques, to also pay attention to your response when things start manifesting. If your inner saboteur starts revealing itself, you will need to tackle it (gently and lovingly) with the appropriate technique.
Sometimes, sheer repetition works. In other words, ignore the fear and keep practicing your manifestation techniques. That’s what I call the bulldozer technique, and often it does work.
Other times, when the fear doesn’t go away, or when you find yourself no longer practicing your manifestation techniques (a subtle way of sabotaging yourself), you will need to resort to other techniques. Often, it is best to work with someone trained in recognizing sabotage patterns and in assisting with the healing process.
From the bottom of my heart, I pray that you manifest a very fulfilling and purposeful life. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions, and feel free to leave a comment.
With love
